We’re a two-mom, multicultural family learning as we go…traveling, adjusting, and creating a life that feels safe, welcoming, and true to who we are.

Along the way, we’ve discovered places that feel right. Not because they’re perfect, but because they let us be ourselves.

Love Goes With Us is where we share those experiences: the lessons, the surprises, and the moments that helped us feel like we belong.

We hope our stories help other families like ours imagine what’s possible…and see that belonging can exist in more places than you might think.

Welcome to our world!

Hi, we’re so glad you’re here!

We’re a two-mom family on the move with our young son (but currently settled in Mérida, Mexico). Traveling together has been full of joy and adventure….but we’ll be the first to admit, it’s not always easy. As a queer, multi-cultural family, finding places that feel safe, welcoming, and still fun for kids takes a little extra time and effort.

That’s part of why we started this space. We wanted somewhere to share it all - the good, the messy, and the magical. You’ll find:

  • honest blog posts about what it’s really like to pick up and move with a little one,

  • highlights from destinations we’ve loved (and why),

  • and practical travel tips we wish we’d had in our back pocket sooner.

We’ve also put together a travel guide with some of our favorite LGBTQIA+ family-friendly and inclusive spots. You can grab it when you join our email list….it’s our way of saying welcome to the journey.

We hope this space will be about connection, belonging, and showing that families like ours, and families like yours, deserve to explore the world with joy and ease.

Curious where we’ve actually felt “at home”?
